Sant’Arcangelo is a hamlet of the Municipality of Magione along the southern shores of the Lake Trasimeno, composed of 6 small settlements going from the lake until the north side of Marzolana Hill.
According to the historical sources, the inhabitants settled from the mid-20s of the 15th century when the construction of the lake emissary began. The economy of the place was and still is mainly linked to fishing, agriculture and activities due to the forest on Marzolana Hill such as breeding, hunting and gathering.
