At the time when Città della Pieve was still a castle, this alley already existed, and today it appears to be one of the narrowest in Italy. It is called Baciadonne and it was very ‘busy’ in the Middle Ages by young people and maidens who, while passing through it, took advantage of the twilight to exchange some stolen kisses.
