Picture gallery of Paciano

Museum / place of art

The Picture gallery, already was the room of the Confraternity of  the Santissimo Sacramento where Francesco da Castel della Pieve frescoed an impressive ”Crucifixion” on order of the prior Andrea di Giovanni in 1452.
In the confraternity room are placed some of the most important paints that the town of Paciano still preserves: the “Madonna del Rifugio”, an oil painting with Annunciation, two canvas from the Ordine dei serviti from the 17th century; a third, always from the 17th century, with dominical saints and two paintings representing Santa Lucia.
