Next to the cemetery, there is the ancient parish church of Passignano. Recent findings in and around the area testify to the pre-existence of a pagan temple and subsequent medieval developments. The construction dates back to around the 10th century. and it was considerably larger in size. It preserves an imposing wooden altar machine that frames a Crucifixion, votive frescoes, and a particular ceramic tile placed outside above the access door depicting San Cristoforo while passing the waters rich in fish, with the small Jesus on his shoulder.
