The Olivastre were born in 2014 on the initiative of three women who decide to recover an abandoned centuries-old olive grove on the hills of Lake Trasimeno in Umbria. The idea quickly transformed into a larger project: recovering uncultivated or abandoned land, protecting and promoting the agricultural landscape, enhancing its agri-food virtues.

• Cooking with olive oil:
  Know-how in the kitchen for women, the love for the countryside with its seasonal products and the passion for olive oil are the three ingredients to create simple, tasty and genuine dishes.
• Trasimeno Laboratory:
  A series of activities to spread the culture of the landscape and its agri-food specificities: olive tree pruning courses, introductory courses to the sensory analysis of EVO oil, walks in the olive grove, moments of conviviality.
