The Civic-Diocesan Museum of Città della Pieve is housed in the former Church of Santa Maria dei Servi, built in the second half of the 13th century and renovated in Baroque style between the 17th and 18th centuries. Inside, there is the important fresco by Pietro Perugino depicting the Deposition from the Cross, painted in 1517 and only discovered in 1834, considered the most important work of his mature age.
In the sub-church, the interesting Diocesan Museum is set up, which houses paintings with religious themes.
Being deconsecrated, the church today is often used for temporary exhibitions and art installations.
