With its 70 hectares, the Polvese Island is the largest of the three islands of Lake Trasimeno, reachable in a few minutes by ferries departing from the main coastal villages. The area is of particular historical and naturalistic interest, but also very rich from an artistic and cultural point of view. Ideal destination for those who want a complete immersion in nature, the entire island is designated as a Didactic Science Park within the Lake Trasimeno Regional Park.
