The historic wellspring of the Cannelle is located among the crops of Via Gino Cappannini, near the former municipal slaughterhouse. Connected by a passable tunnel to the Casalino well, it has two contiguous uncovered tanks, one larger and one smaller. In use since the Middle Ages, it is remembered near the Church and Monastery of “Fior di Maggio”. It was also called Fonte Dentro because it is the only one included within the walls.
