A small castle on a hill dates back to the XIV century, it preserves a lot of elements of the original building. It is situated close to via Pievaiola, the road which connects Perugia with Città della Pieve.
There are no traces left of the first primitive settlement. It used to be a castle since the second half of the XV century.
The church today, has a single nave and was built in 1909. There is only a main altar and on it there is a big oil painting by the local artist Ascani, who came from Paciano, which represents Saint Michele Arcangelo who kills the dragon.
