San Vito is a small and charming country church in Romanesque style. Next to the church stands a particular tower, of Byzantine origin, whose characteristics suggest more than a bell tower to a signal lighthouse. In fact, its structure which rests on four pillars, with a completely empty base inside, suggests the need to light a fire in such a way that the reverberation would illuminate the round windows at the top.
In past times it was used as a bell tower and is considered one of the oldest in all of Umbria.
