Piscina Porcinai – Garden of Aquatic Plants

Natural attractor Nature

Built on the Polvese Island in the late 1950s on a project by the landscape architect Pietro Porcinai, one of the greatest Italian landscape architects, it is a set of tanks entirely dug into the rock and fed by the waters of Lake Trasimeno. In the different tanks, various species of both native and non-native aquatic plants were placed.
