In 2015, on the top of Monte Pausillo, thanks to the intervention of Anpi “Brigata Risorgimento” was put down the monument in honour of the partisan brigade “Risorgimento”  that was based and fought there.
This place was always seen as a common good, lived by the community and tourists.
From here, climbing down, it is easy to reach Paciano. In 5 km of interesting up-and-down, even from a naturalistic and scenic point of view,  is possible to reach Panicale, passing through the peak of Monte Petrarvella.
