The second, in order of size, of the three Trasimeno islands, still preserves its atmosphere of a typical 15th century fishing village.
Characteristic of the island is the handcrafted production of Irish lace, a particular crochet process.
Despite the small size of the island, there are many attractions to visit, including the Marchesi Guglielmi Castle, the Church of San Michele Arcangelo, the windmill, the Lace Museum, the Palace of Capitano del Popolo.
