Charming church in the Vernazzano countryside, with a neo-Gothic façade and bell tower in white and pink tanned Assisi stone. In the central rose window there is a large image of Saint Lucia.
To the left of the altar, the oils are kept in a valuable case with a small wooden door and a carved stone-slab frame. The confessionals are in eighteenth-century style wood. There is also a baptismal font with stucco and wooden lid.
In the new church, stands the painting by Anton Maria Garbi (1769) in which St. Michael the Archangel is about to pierce the devil with his sword holding his head crushed and, right under this image, you can see the characteristic rocky spur, the ancient settlement still intact with the Vernazzano tower perfectly perpendicular.
