Located outside the village of Oro, in an almost flat and isolated position, it is a very ancient church as it has been described since 1350 in the catalog of territorial churches of Perugia.
The plant has a single rectangular nave with a semicircular apse.
On the floor, near the presbytery, a stone indicates the presence of a common underground tomb intended to house the mortal remains of the faithful.
During the Christmas holidays, it hosts the famous Nativity of Oro, which occupies the entire church with water games and constructions, all made strictly by hand.
