The Church was built at the behest of Duke Fulvio Alessandro della Corgna, following an alleged grace given to him by the Madonna during an illness.
The architectural structure of the building makes it fully fall into the category of Leonine churches, commissioned by the then bishop of Perugia Vincenzo Gioacchino Pecci, future Pope Leo XIII. The church is in Baroque style and contains valuable paintings commissioned by the duke himself to an anonymous painter. In addition to the image of the Virgin of Grace, on the sides of the main altar, you can admire a suggestive Resurrection and a dramatic Deposition.
To the right of the main facade is the bell tower with terracotta and molded concrete shapes.
