Salci is located at the extreme offshoots of the Valdichiana, on the top of a small hill on the border between Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio. Its tiny territory (approximately 0.03 km²) is centered around the medieval village.

The focal point of the village is its square, in clay. This is where Salci’s entire life looked out. The protagonists are certainly the church and the ducal palace; the shops, the tavern, the artisans and the people who animated this place can still be imagined very well today.
