Vernazzano Tower: The history of a community

The trail runs over 7.2 km (4.47 miles approx.) and is of moderate difficulty. Walk or ride the path and you’ll fully immerse in the history of the community of Vernazzano and the environment that has welcomed and shaped it.

Human events such as wars, fires, socio-economic change and natural events like earthquakes and landslides have caused the town to move twice to a more favorable position. An emblematic story of what often happens in Italian Apennine lands.
