Practical course of natural dyeing.

An ancient and traditional technique to dye yarns and fabrics with plants.
During the course, you will learn the procedures, the materials, the doses and the timing, the dyeing plants. You will do, personally, with the guide of Elena, all the operations of dyeing of a wool skin that you can bring back home.

Elena, artisan of the nature, walks along the fields looking for spontaneous plants that give amazing colors. With an ancient and traditional procedure, she uses them to dye cotton, silk, linen, wool in a natural way, creating soft textile for the skin and for the environment. She recovers local wool from the shepherds, for whom the wool is a useless scrap, giving new birth to this material full of history and of which the value was lost. She washes, cards, spins and dyes manually the wool in order to obtain precious and sustainable yarns.
