The medieval fortress built in the V-VI century by the Lombards, offers visitors a panoramic view of 360° around Trasimeno Lake and the hills. This wonderful view is enjoyable after having climbed the spiral staircase and reached the terrace on the top of the tower (high 32 meters).
Between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, the castle came under the hands of several owners, with demolitions, reconstructions and alterations of various types.
