Less than a km far from the town of Panicarola, in a place called “Lo Scopetino”, stands the church of Madonna del Busso. This name came from the noise that the fishermen made while fishing during the night in a small lake connected to Lake Trasimeno by a canal.

The first church was built around 1842 and in 1885. As the first building was crumbling and way too small, they started building a new one on the project of Mr. Carlo Baiocchi, around the one that already existed, that was finally covered in 1905.
